HVAC Technician cum Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Karachi

Our client, a reputable company in Karachi, is urgently seeking a Technician cum Maintenance Supervisor. This key role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities. We are looking for an expert in HVAC, mechanical, and electrical maintenance to oversee our maintenance operations and optimize the efficiency of our production systems.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

·      Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

·      Perform regular inspections and diagnostics on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.

·      Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for critical equipment and systems.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues promptly and cost-effectively.

·      Coordinate and supervise external contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs when needed.

·      Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacement parts.

·      Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

·      Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

·      Manage inventory for maintenance parts and tools to ensure timely repairs.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

ü Diploma or associate degree in a related field (candidates with extensive practical experience in maintenance and leadership will also be considered).

ü 2–3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, mechanical, and electrical maintenance.

ü Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing setting (preferably in the food industry).

ü Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems.

ü Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

ü Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.

ü Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

ü Strong organizational and communication skills.

ü Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

ü Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance certifications) are a plus.
