Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Accountant & Admin Assistant to join our expanding team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys managing financial records while providing vital administrative support.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.

Invoicing & Billing:

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring timely payments and proper documentation of all invoicing transactions.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

Tax Preparation:

  • Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure all required documentation is filed on time.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Help with budgeting processes, tracking expenses, and forecasting financial trends to support business decision-making.

General Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance including scheduling, email management, and data entry.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital files, ensuring records are up-to-date, confidential, and easily accessible.

Communication Liaison

  • Act as a point of contact for internal team members, external vendors, clients, and partners on accounting and administrative matters.

Office Management:

  • Assist with day-to-day office functions such as ordering office supplies, managing subscriptions, and handling correspondence.


Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support or managing office tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and accuracy.
  • Experience using QuickBooks, Excel, or Google Sheets.
  • Effective at prioritizing tasks and managing time in a remote work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable using remote work tools such as Google Workspace and Zoom.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with tax preparation.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Familiarity with remote team collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards (if applicable).
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (preferred but not required).
