Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy transport vehicles (HTVs).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other vital parts.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components such as transmissions, axles, clutches, and suspensions.
• Maintain service records and log all repairs or replacements.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Respond to breakdown calls and perform on-site diagnostics and quick fixes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and environmental protocols.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy & Latest vehicle maintenance and repair.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in HTVs.
• Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic software.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.
• Valid HTV mechanic certification/license (if applicable).
