Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Translator to join our team at LancMall. As a Chinese Translator, you will be responsible for translating documents, audio, and video files from Chinese to Urdu and vice versa, to support our business operations and growth.
Responsibilities
- Translate documents, audio, and video files from English to Chinese and vice versa.
- Ensure accurate and high-quality translations that meet our standards.
- Conduct research to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure consistency and quality.
- Meet deadlines and deliver translations on time.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and excellent English language skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in translation software and tools (e.g., CAT tools).
Nice to Have
- Experience with specialized translation software (e.g., MemoQ, Trados).
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology (e.g., retail, e-commerce).
- Certification in translation (e.g., ATA, ITI).
