Frontend Developer

Description

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our team at Simcoe IT. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.js, Next.js and TypeScript.

The hiring process will comprise of a series of tests and interviews. Candidate must also showcase portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and aesthetic user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript as per requirements.
• Collaborate with the back-end development team to integrate with front-end.
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with the design team to ensure that user interface designs are implemented accurately.
• Test and debug code to ensure that applications are error-free and function correctly.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience with proven track record in front-end development using
  • HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript
  • Bootstrap
  • React.js
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
• Ability to use variety of UI, state management and other libraries according to requirements such as
  • Material-UI
  • React Query
  • React Table
  • Material React Table
  • Zustand
  • Reactstrap
  • And others as per need
• A strong understanding of front-end development principles including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• A good aesthetic sense and creativity to create visually appealing user interfaces.
• Experience in
  • Testing using Jest/Enzyme for unit tests and cypress/selenium for end-to-end testing.
  • Git and Version Control.
  • Vercel and other hosting providers.
  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Docker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Rich experience to execute projects exactly according to requirements.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
