Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Executive to drive sales growth and build strong relationships with potential and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics industry. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and contribute to the company's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the trucking and logistics industry.
- Build strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Present and promote our dispatch services to prospective clients through meetings, calls, and emails.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar role, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or trucking industry.
- Strong understanding of truck dispatch operations and the logistics landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
