As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will assist in automating software deployment, managing infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability. You will work with senior team members to maintain virtualized environments, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance.
Responsibilities: * Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems to ensure smooth operations. * Work with virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi to configure and manage virtual machines. * Collaborate with the IT team to handle user support requests and provide timely solutions. * Contribute to monitoring system performance, security, and log analysis, addressing issues proactively. * Participate in cloud computing and containerization tasks using tools like Docker and Kubernetes. * Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins. * Assist in system upgrades, installations, and configurations under the guidance of senior administrators. * Work with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate deployments. * Apply information security best practices to maintain secure system environments.
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field OR Master’s degree in Information Security or a related field. * Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. * Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, JavaScript, and Python. * Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools. * Familiarity with VMware ESXi, virtual machines, and system administration. * Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools is an advantage. * Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security best practices. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
