Job Title: Mechanical Technician – Escalator Maintenance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician specializing in escalator maintenance to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inspecting, repairing, and servicing escalators to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of escalators to identify and address mechanical issues.
- Diagnose malfunctions and execute necessary repairs, including replacing faulty components.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate service records and document all performed tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and escalator breakdowns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma DAE Mech
- Proven experience in escalator maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in escalators (knowledge of Schneider brand will be a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
