Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Solar Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering and a passion for renewable energy. You will be responsible for generating leads, conducting site assessments, preparing proposals, and closing sales for residential, commercial, and industrial solar solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector.
  • Conduct client meetings and on-site surveys to assess energy needs and system requirements.
  • Design and propose customized PV solutions using technical knowledge and solar design tools.
  • Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and presentations for potential customers.
  • Follow up with clients to close deals and provide post-sales support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, new technologies, and local solar regulations.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of technical sales experience (preferably in solar or renewable energy).
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and basic energy calculations.
  • Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and solar design tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel within the city or to client sites as required.
  • A passion for sustainability and clean energy solutions.
